After relocating to Colorado, he attended Cherokee Trail High School, where he distinguished himself in academics and athletics. As a dedicated tennis player, he became a four-year varsity letterman and qualified three times each for the state and regional championships within the Boys 12–18 5A Tennis League.

He began his college career in 2015 at the University of Colorado Boulder, enrolling in Civil Engineering. After some time, he realized his interests aligned more closely with construction-focused, hands-on work. He transferred to Colorado State University and joined the Construction Management program, ultimately graduating with a 3.78 GPA. While there, he became a Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society member and earned consistent placement on the Dean’s List. His academic success reflected a strong work ethic and commitment to his chosen field.

While pursuing his degree, he completed three internships with a leading construction company in Denver. These summer roles allowed him to gain critical insight into field operations and project coordination. His work contributed to the development of the Market Station and RidgeGate Campus projects in Colorado and a historical restoration project at the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. He views the Capitol experience as one of the most significant of his early career, given the importance of preserving a building with such national historical value.

Career in Construction

As a Commercial Project Management Professional with nearly a decade of experience, he continuously develops his skills and applies lessons from office planning and field execution. His approach to managing construction focuses on the practical implementation of planning methods, efficient resource use, and strong communication. Much of his work involves transforming aging or underutilized spaces into modern commercial environments suited to new business or public needs.

He joined a well-regarded construction firm as a Project Engineer after his internships. One of his first major assignments was the National Western Center Campus Energy project, where he contributed to developing North America’s largest sewer-heat recovery system. His attention to project detail and ability to adapt quickly to new challenges led him to a role as a Construction Estimator. He was responsible for reviewing proposal documents from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring budget estimates aligned with plans and specifications.

In 2022, he was promoted to Assistant Project Manager, responsible for tracking contract scopes, managing procurement schedules, and monitoring project progress against key milestones. His focus on documentation, scheduling, and compliance helped ensure that construction projects aligned with agreed-upon terms. He was key in delivering results by coordinating teams and adjusting strategies in response to site conditions or stakeholder needs.

Among the many projects he has worked on, two are particularly memorable. One is his contribution to the historic preservation of the U.S. Capitol, where he assisted in restoring features of national importance. The other is the construction of the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC), a three-story structure covering 170,982 square feet. These projects illustrate his ability to work on technically challenging builds while maintaining attention to historical preservation and modern infrastructure needs.

A Life Adventurist

His interests mirror his professional commitment to exploration and discipline. He actively supports conservation efforts and contributes through his involvement with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. His love of the outdoors is reflected in his adventures hiking rugged trails in Colorado, Hawaii, and New Mexico. He has climbed many of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks and continues to seek out new challenges in nature.

He maintains a consistent fitness routine, including Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, boxing, skiing, and weightlifting. Travel also plays a key role in his life, combining his appreciation for history with his interest in discovering new places. Whether engaging in outdoor activities or training in martial arts, he brings the same focus and perseverance that define his work in construction.
